Giving and Sharing as an Investment

Why give and share? Is it really important to give? Giving and sharing is the easiest act of showing and expressing your compassion, mercy and love. Giving is also a form of obedience otherwise not giving translates into disobedience. And giving and sharing your love to others is the only way to God’s promises.  There is no other path that can lead you to the everlasting reward. You can not enter His kingdom without giving and sharing. Love by giving is the essential and the fundamental reason and purpose of salvation, without it salvation has never and will never take its course.

Easiest way of Giving

Giving financially should be the easiest form of giving. Though others may disagree with me because for some people this act of giving is very challenging. Time, effort and personal touch is not directly involve and necessary. There is no specific amount to impose but there is a measure which it only applies to each and every person. God measures us base in our own situations and capabilities. You may give a lot but it may mean nothing to God because it lacks in measure. We give and God searches the heart.

Giving financially should be easy. The more you give the more you become blessed and wealthy. You may not notice the latter, but you will be richer sooner or later. Since all efforts will be rewarded in many ways too many to mention. This kind of giving literally requires you to just open your wallet, get some cash, hand it over and you are supposed to be done.

Giving your tithes and offering is an essential sacrifice that should be taken seriously and not for granted. Take a look on what happened to Ananias and his wife Sapphira in Acts chapter five. If not giving can displease God then without a doubt, giving financially can bring you closer to God and may benefit you with numerous compensations at the end of the road.

To whom giving is due? Giving and sharing is an investment.

The greatest recipient of our charity is our Lord God. But it will be impossible for Him to receive it. He is an invisible God and literally does not need any of them. He owns and created everything. When you decide to give and share there is a good way, the best way and the worst method to do it. There is a hierarchy of recipients and  a pyramid of giving on how you will endow your aid to others. Though it may be easy to give any help and support but there is a appropriate way of giving and sharing. Don’t give aimlessly without a heart and right understanding. Giving and sharing is an investment. There is always a return when you give and you have to max out the return of your investments. Give wisely, correctly and righteously.

Matthew 19:29 – And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Forsaking is a way of giving. Since you are giving up something for the service of the Lord and His ministry. Through this you might receive a hundredfold return of your investment. Whatever we decided to give and donate, the church and the workers should be our primary recipients. It does not stop there. There are some more routes that we can follow and reach through His words and with our own rationale. Remember, not all giving is the same and equal.

The greatest giving of all

The greatest love is laying your own life for others. Giving your own precious life for others is the rarest and most valuable act of all. You can give your money, time and effort but not all can give their life for others’ sake. The willingness to lose your own life for your friends is the champion of all good deeds. There is no greater love than this. Our Lord Jesus Christ did this for us without any hesitations. He died at the calvary to redeem and give us a chance to salvation. If there is a moment or an opportunity for you to give your life to save others do not be afraid.  It is the single greatest giving a man can do to others and the reward is immeasurable.

John 15:13 – Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Giving and sharing is a chance and a privilege that everyone should grab and practice whenever a moment arises. It can be a great power or an inevitable curse depending on how you live it. It typically comes with influence and leverage that can subdue almost anyone. It can also be abused to bend and do anything. You can also be trapped and be taken advantaged. There is no accessible button to make it stop right away. It can build and destroy cities nor friendships. Giving and sharing is a responsibility that requires knowledge, wisdom, faith and love. Let us give righteously in accordance to His will. Think of it as the greatest investment that you can do where no moth nor rust can take it away from you.

Improving Towards a Good and Clear Conscience

Let us improve our conscience in order to have a good and clear conscience. Conscience can be upgraded and be improved. There is a good conscience, an evil one so on and so forth. What is conscience then? There is no exact few words to explain it perfectly. Even Wikipedia’s conscience definition seems broad as well. Since it occurs universally from different views  and perspectives. Though, in my own layman’s term to make it plain and short, conscience is your knowledge, wisdom and understanding of things, principles and beliefs. Thus aggregately, creating a system in you… Conscience will directly assist you in your thoughts, judgments and actions. I simply put it as “it is who you really are” and the inner you that makes you – you.

Hebrews 11:13 NIV – Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way.

1 Timothy 1:19 KJV – Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

Any action cannot be judged righteously without considering their clear conscience

A naturally good deed is externally right but it can be an immoral act too. Sharing and giving for instance are basically good actions. But being generous with hidden agenda and dark motives will make your conscience shady and not clear at all. Probably no one can see it, but God can. There is no way He will be pleased with you. Instead, it will just make Him furious and be annoyed. You are now deemed guilty and punishable.

Given the situation about the clear conscience:

Where you found a wallet full of cash and you saw a distressed and distraught man roaming around. He seems as if he is uneasily looking for something on the ground. He looks exactly like the photo ID inside the wallet that you found a few minutes ago. What will you do with the wallet and cash? You needed cash direly since the rent is a couple of months due and your baby’s formula milk was unfilled for the past two nights. How would you react and think given the situation. God led you to the wallet and it is His way of helping and saving you. God is so good. His help is always on time. Or should you return and find the owner right away, since the wallet was never yours in the first place. You will never be able to live peacefully against your principles. Keeping the wallet was one thing but taking pleasure with it while watching the real owner looking all over the place is a different side of the story. How you react and respond to the situation is partly or wholly that is who you really are. Conscience is at work wether we like it or not. As there is an act there is an exact opposite judgment that awaits us.

You can escape the law but you can not escape your own conscience. You may argue and try to justify you actions in your own mind but conscience is – it is, what it is. It is plainly accurate and fairly inexcusable individually. You can not deny the feeling of guilt or pleasure whatever the case maybe.

Romans 2:15 – Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another

A clear conscience should be our guide to follow in such instances.

It is not necessarily the laws because there is no explicit laws written for specific cases and individuals. Each and every situation is different and unique. General philosophies and morally accepted truths may not apply literally to each and everyone. Therefore, conscience is the most effective law in ourselves. We always carry it with us and we don’t need to worry about forgetting it. We already know it by heart and soul. We know and understands its consequences. We individually process things differently but conscience can adjust in split seconds and has the ability to haunt us for the rest of our lives. While governing laws of our land takes so much time to perfect it. It may need dozens of revisions and decades or centuries of observations and explorations.

Titus 1:15 – Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

If conscience can be defiled then it can be cleansed and purified as well. You can improve your conscience by correcting your way of thinking directly by enhancing your wisdom and learning things the right way – the Bible way. You know what I mean…

May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you today.

Instant Healing Comes Differently

Instant healing comes differently to every person. How long will you bear, suffer and struggle for your illnesses?  Healing comes with a price from regular check ups, altering your daily habits and to having faith in God. It is a price to pay that should be worth it, since it is for your relief and comfort. It is another shot to be back in a healthy shape again.

If you are one of the few that is always healthy and never been to a hospital, then you are fortunate. However, all of us will be ill atleast once in our lifetime. Ranging from minor aches to severe complaints of complications. If time is in our hands and we may live long enough to make our physical conditions fall apart due to old age, sadly to say, a moment will come that sickness will overwhelm us. Going in and out of clinics and hospitals will become a routine. We can’t avoid our physical breakdown and deterioration as time passes.

An instant healing with a simple faith

John 4:50 – Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.

The father simply believe that his son will not die and it happened. It is not just a simple faith but truthful and genuine. It seems there was no doubt when he believed Jesus’ words. An ordinary person would force Jesus to come with him to his house to heal his child. The father simply trust our Lord from the bottom of his heart. He believed without seeing.

Instant healing that waited for 38 years

John 5:5 –  And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

The man was sick for 38 long years and had been waiting by the pool. We can evaluate from the story back then that the man have faith even before Jesus talked to him. I can say that he has been doing that for a long time. It became his habit to stay by the pool and hope for it to move. Almost four decades had past and an instant healing was given by our Lord Jesus Christ out of sympathy and kindness. He was healed and made whole without going to the pool. Right at that moment he was healed.

An instant healing but with procedures to follow

Another man was healed after washing at the pool of Siloam. It was an instant healing but not as instant as others did. There was a procedure to follow. Without finishing the process the healing would never push through. Jesus used clay on the blind man’s eyes and asked the man to wash it in a certain pool. How difficult it is to go to a certain place when you are blind? However, that was the final step. He had to go.

John 9:7 – And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

instant healing
instant healing

No healing at all

Surprising to say, not all faithful men will be healed. Apostle Paul had a thorn in the flesh and there was no relief. The grace of God was sufficient already to Apostle Paul. And there is the necessity to exhibit weakness in order to show the perfect strength of God.

II Corinthians 12:7 – And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

Healing has many faces but they are all considered healing when you got better and felt relief afterwards. To restore your usual functions, it may require an assortment of remedies. But an antidote will not cure everyone the same way and not all lanes will lead to the same destinations. It should always be God’s way, not our way or anybody’s way. We have to follow Him no matter what. Just keep on praying and believing, never lose hope. God is the greatest healer and doctor of all. Healing is just near through Him. It is rarely distant and of course, better promises awaits to His servants.

When servants of God get sick it is for a reason and purpose.  Beyond doubt, it is always for the better. Therefore, be a servant of God before it is too late. It is never a loss.

May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you today.

Long Life that Everyone Desires

Our own life is the most important and most valuable of all things that we have. If only it is a tangible commodity, this life of ours will be taken care with extreme diligence and fragility. We will hide it where no one can get and keep it in fortresses and vaults that have intensive security protocols. We will be so paranoid on how to keep it safe and be guarded all the time. God is so brilliant and good. He did not create our lives to be confined like that. Our life is intact to our own selves. Imagine if life is in a crystal ball, this restless world will become unrulier and even more chaotic.

long life
An apple a day keeps the doctor away? God is the giver and taker of life. He can definitely grant you a peaceful long life or He can easily cut it short.

Man is fairly mad on how to have a long life.

Everyone wants peace and long life. Who doesn’t want to live longer? Many are glued with herbal medicines and snake oil alternatives. We tend to be optimistic to whatever marketers are telling us that can promote our health magically or extraordinarily. Gluten free foods are now the trend. They cost a lot more but it is ok for the health conscious and affluent. Vegetarians are becoming widespread anywhere for good and clean health, of course for a long life span. Proper diet and enough sleep are being encouraged by health professionals to improve our well being and personal health. We spend thousands of dollars for our family to be healthy and free from illnesses and diseases. There are so many things out there on how to keep us looking and feeling younger.  But in reality with all of these things, death does not exempt anybody because of age, practice or diet. Everyone will come to an end and there’s no fountain of life at least in this world. Death can get to anyone anytime, regardless.

What then should I advise to assure us of a long life? I have no knowledge of my own to share. Although, I have something that everyone should give reverence to. It is the Holy Scripture where the Words of God can be found. The first commandment about long life with promise was to honor your father and mother. Why?

Ephesians 6:2-3 – Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

It is clear that to have a long life is to obey your parents. This is generally true and acceptable since they are the one who is responsible and committed to take care of us from the moment we were born. Rebellious and disobedient children tend to immerse in vices and become friends with the wrong people. Without conversion, life is always cut short when this happens.

Proverbs 3:16 – Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

Long life is one of the promises of God to His obedient servants.

Envision a death that you are willing to take. There are no sufferings, pain and difficulties. You feel accomplished and content that you can accept death with a smile and no fear. What a remarkable death indeed! Moses died without losing his eyesight and vigor. He died fairly strong and healthy but full of age. Like Abraham, Job, Joshua, Gideon, David, Joseph and many more, they all died with an old age with riches and honor. God did not abandon nor forsake them. A very good and long life was given to them. All things they asked, they were granted. Good health, long life and salvation was assured by God to them.

Psalms 91:16 –  With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

The greatest and easiest remedy for our life to be longer is obeying God. Serving and making Him our number one priority in our lives is the antidote to death. We will not live forever but we will live a fulfilling and satisfying long life. A life that ends but we will never fear and be scared of death because He will make our life full and complete. Death will be our finish line where the rewards are waiting at the end. Since the rewards will never be given without finishing the race. In this case, our life needs to end in order for us to be rewarded.

Certainly, health is wealth but serving the true God makes you the wealthiest of all.

May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you today.

Obeying God, How Much We Can Give?

Obeying God is simply offering, giving and sacrificing for Him. Sounds easy huh? But what is the worth of our obedience to God? How much is it? Do we really give our faith its true value and worth? How much risks and sacrifices are we willing to take or offer in order to please Him. These are only some of the basic questions we encounter personally when it comes to making choices to our faith.  We worship and give something to God but how much can we really giving Him. No one can judge us since no one really knows what happens in our heads except maybe ourselves and God Himself. We know and understand how we decide on things. We are entitled to decide on how we respond and act on situations that concerns us. What to choose? What to do and what to say?

obeying God
Obeying God should be our priority, family is second only. Image courtesy of imagerymajestic at FreeDigitalPhotos.

To serve God without competition is manageable and apparently a child’s play. The real challenge emerges when there’s another conglomeration of desires on the opposite side of your cognizance and perception. It makes it difficult to resolve especially when your faith is somewhere below at the middle of your preferences. Your obedience to God is at risk. Choosing between double pay in your workplace against a Sunday service is a mere walk in the park when you really don’t value your faith and needed the money so much. Linking faith at the end of the food chain is the worst thing that you could ever do. Your faith will always be antagonized by something irrelevant in your life. You can not unstop thinking of reasons of not doing it. There will always be work, exhaustion and dozen excuses of not going to church. There will always be something to make you not believe on Him. It is not because of anything outside but it is all in your head.

Obeying God is not easy when we don’t feel the need of Him.

Obeying God should be simple and real easy. However, for many it is never easy because it was never practiced and thought as an essential part of of our lives. We should always feel the desperation of needing Him more. The passion of serving God should evolve and mature within ourselves. Serving and pleasing God is a sacrifice. Having and practicing faith in God is a necessary sacrifice we should do and complete. We have to give up on certain things we like for something we even like more (which is pleasing God). Worshipping God is not something we should not appreciate but we should learn to enjoy it. To delight on something you needed is the most satisfying purpose of one’s life. It is hard to go to work when you don’t enjoy doing your job but you do need to make a living for your family. So you go to work everyday without a spirit and dedication.

Going to church because you are forced or just fulfilling a favor for someone is somewhat dim and meaningless. Our faith and services to Him all goes down to our hearts and purity of our motives. It is not in numbers, value in money or any other external features we may posses.

Faith in Him should become a fundamental and basic necessity in our lives. How? We have to get use to it and do it all the time. We have to always experience it. It should be part of our daily routine. As we always have it in us, it becomes part of us of who we really are. Without it, we are not us and we will never be complete. Obeying God becomes us.

Mark 12:30 – Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

Let us start raising Him in the hierarchy of our desires and priorities. We should move now before it is too late. Mankind often seek God when our lives are declining and failing never when it is blossoming and flourishing. We are foolish and stubborn in so many ways. But before it is late we should be wiser and be prudent in the sight of God. Let us start needing Him more everyday.

May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you today.

God Created Everything and All its Substance

John 1:3 – All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

The Almighty God created everything. We are definitely created by someone, that is for sure. A supreme being that we can never avoid. Though, some may invalidate and denounce His existence. It should never stop us from believing the invisible God. He can not be seen by our naked eyes but God’s presence is undeniable and evident to our sight, touch and including all of our senses. We are blind not to see Him in our surroundings and lives.

God created everything,  a car would never exist randomly

Waiting for millions of years will not spawn a car in the space. Time with some factors will destroy a car but not conceive one. Man and nature are far more complex than a car or any advance craft man can ever build. If cars needed to be built to exist, how much more a living and rational human being will exist without an architect. Thus, it is clear that man will never exist without a creator.

god created everything
God created everything including all laws and principles with it.

God’s creation is complete. God’s creations don’t lack anything

When God created man and all things around, it was done in six days but that excludes heaven, earth and the infinite core things of the universe. It was a seven-day creation including a day of rest.  The creation of life in earth was totally done and finished. He created everything with a purpose and balance. Plants will grow and reproduce by itself. Sun will rise and set everyday because of earth’s rotation. Man can get sick without proper nutrition but will heal and adapt by himself with right aid. Animals will grow and mature on their own thru nourishment and time. God does not need to press a button or wave His magic scepter to make us healthy or sick and to live or die. The creations were impeccable there was no experimentation or trial and error stage. Everything was complete and perfect  based on His design and plan. All living things will live and reproduce accordingly and man will be in charge of all God’s creations. He is the Almighty God, the creator of everything.

God created everything as well as all the systems with it

All things were created under principles, systems, certain rules and purpose. We call them law of nature. The phenomenon of cause and effect and; whatever you sow, you reap – they are laws and principles that God made. Including all the laws Newton discovered and numerous facts man kept on finding out everyday they are systems and laws that God put in place. Man just discovered it but God had set them in motion since the start. He did everything according to His plan. He does not need to watch every moves of insects, animals and men. God did not only create everything but had given and set all the fundamental systems and orders of all things.

Most of us think that God watches earth’s gravity every second and needs to wake up sleepy drivers to avoid catastrophic accidents. We are indeed mistaken; God is the King of Kings. He is the greatest and wisest of all. What are men for? What are the angels for? They were all created to serve and do whatever pleases God.

Psalms 103:2 – Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

Isaiah 46:10 – Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Mankind may deny His existence but we are living under His rules. Whatever we do we in our lives were already drawn into His divine plan. He has a purpose and there is a season for everything. We are included in God’s calculations and no matter what, we can not escape His wrath or reward. Whether we believe Him or not, our end is absolute. But He is prepared and ready from top to bottom and; from the beginning to the end. His plan is in place and it is perfect from start to finish.

May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you today.

Love Your Enemies, What Does It Really Mean?

Matthew 5:44 – But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Love your enemies is a very popular phrase by our Lord Jesus Christ. Loving your enemies is one the most difficult things to do. What does that mean? Most of us think that we should love everyone including all our enemies in a way that we couldn’t imagine and do. That we should love our neighbors and even our enemies like we love ourselves. But wait, I will you give some of the basic points how should we love our enemies.

love your enemies
Love your enemies and keep your friendships

In my understanding, we are not suppose to love everyone and anyone. Everyone knows that is not really possible. How can you really love someone whom you didn’t even meet and know? We teach our kids that they should never talk to strangers and should stay away from them. Only a fool parent would tell his/her child to talk to strangers and accept any thing a stranger will hand over.

We got different kinds of enemies. One of them are spiritual. Spiritual enemies should be treated differently as our enemies in flesh, personal enemies or strangers. They are real enemies that we shouldn’t be close with. We need to stay away from them. They are full of deceptions and evil works. They are clearly against the works of righteousness and the will of God. We are in a spiritual warfare thus, we are not friends with the enemies of God. Jesus Christ Himself knows that perfectly. He was a very strict teacher but loved His disciples dearly.  On the other hand, anyone who disobeyed Him and acted hypocritically received His damnation and rebuke.

1 Corinthians 5:13 – But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
2 John 1:7 – For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
2 John 1:10 – If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

Let us not interchange enemies with strangers.

Under no circumstances as a Christian, we are all obligated to help and care for everyone who is in grave danger. It does not matter if you knew him or not. If you have the chance to save someone’s life never hesitate. When it comes to life and death situations and other such related cases, we are suppose to give our support, cares and concerns to them as if we are the one who is in need. Look unto the parable of our Lord Jesus Christ about the good samaritan.

Luke 10:27 – And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

We should not have second thoughts of helping anybody who is seriously in need of our help. We need to act appropriately as needed by specific calling and situations.

What does it really mean by love your enemies?

Generally, enemies are not people you don’t know. They hate you for a reason. You hate them because you knew them and may have done something terrible to you. They are individuals that are special to you before. Mostly, they are the ones who are very close to your heart. Your best friend, a brother or an ex wife can be your worst enemy. People who can really hurt your feelings and can affect you in your daily life. They are usually the dearest in your heart but recently may have caused you some pain and heartaches. They are the people who knew you well including your weaknesses and sufferings in life. Like in movies, the mortal enemy is usually the person who is very close to the main character and that may really well apply to everyone in real life.

They maybe our enemies literally but in reality they are our love ones. We should do our very best to mend our relationship and bring back the love or concern that we once felt to them. Love your enemies. The most difficult things are the ones that give you the greatest rewards and blessings in life.

Pick Faith as the Answer to All Problems

Why should we pick faith and not money, family or a nice career? Are they the answer to all of our needs? Faith can answer all things even to those things that has no answer at all. The most difficult queries in life are questions that we couldn’t answer and no available resolve. We got baggages that we can’t lighten up. However, through faith with the undoubting kind and right amount,  all things can be answered and brighten up your path.  Let us answer everyone by recommending faith.

Matthew 11:28 – Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

pick faith
Faith moves mountains. Pick faith and recommend it  to everyone.

Why pick faith and recommend it?

How can recommending faith be the answer? Do we really need a luxurious car or a bigger house? What do we really need? You may have a couple of things that some other people does not have. But you may still feel empty than ever before. There is this urge you couldn’t suppress. The urge of wanting and desiring to have more. You are fortunate in the sight of many but you don’t feel like one. You are at lost, somewhere in the grey. How can you then pick faith and recommend it to others?

Faith can make you appreciate whatever you may have and does not have. Faith makes you still and unmoveable against the strongest hurricanes of life.

Psalms 34:10 – The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

Man’s material needs never ends. We are always in need period. We are always in search of a better life and will always hunger for more. No millionaire will stop wanting to be a millionaire. They want more, not less. They feel like they are competing with other wealthy and famous people out there. However, in reality they are just competing with their own needs and fear. They are competing against their ownselves. I maybe wrong for some, but this is the general truth. We get bored of watching the same show over and over. We need more and fresh becomes stale quick. We are not contented creatures.  We have to face our own mental process and get over with it in our own. There is no other way to stop discontent. Faith is the answer. We need to fight back and beat our mental nature. Subconsciously, faith can strangle our needs and throw them away.

1 Corinthians 13:13 – And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Most all things can be bought by the green flashy benjamins. Though, the ultimate things in life are invaluable. They don’t come with a price tag or a payoff amount. They couldn’t be bought. These includes the three greatest things in life namely, faith, hope and charity. Who can buy hope and true love that can truly accept you for who you are? Recommending faith and having one only means you have one of the most valuable things in the world. May God help us that we may have strength to recommend faith.

Faith can be disregarded but it is the only way to find and please God. Without it, man will lose in this world and no chance of survival in the struggles of life. It is only through faith that real peace and lasting comfort can come in. You may have advance alarm systems and vast array of insurance policies. Your senses will still say, it is not enough. Wealth may simply give you more friends but may well not be founded with true friendships and concerns. It may give you convenience and pleasure but carries more worries and disappointments. Money will not give you a lasting peace of mind and a bulletproof security. You will never be in shortage of enemies and envies. Thus, wealth can give you more troubles than answers.

We hope and depend to our family. We look unto them as our answers in many things in life. Yes, they are the most dependable entities aside from me or I. Or perhaps most of the time, they are more dependable than ourselves. They are our fortress in times of need. We run to them. We cry to them. But they are also human beings, with social dilemmas, personal anxieties and also got some monsters within. They are not as complete as we think. They are not flawless. You needed them as they needed you. Without you they become shaky. Without them, you’ll be weaker than ever before. Family is our comfort and rest. But the whole family needs hope and faith that we may appreciate each other. And may look on things differently, more like a bright light in the midst of a dark path.

Unlikely but surely without a doubt, we can give everything to our love ones but it does not guarantee anything. It will just be a wild shot towards a target. Having a family or a relative willing to help will not solve your issues in life. It may help but it does not stop it for good. Faith does. Family can fail but unwavering faith does not fail and disappoint.

Pass it on, pick faith and recommend to everyone

I pick faith before anything else. Faith stops doubts. It gives you more hope. It keeps you going and inspired. Faith will help you forgive and forget. Faith pleases God, money can’t. Faith proves true love. Faith can make you laugh and cry genuinely.

Faith struggles but knows how and when to ask for help. Faith makes us not need anything even if we needed a lot of things. It makes us complete even if we are so lacking. It comforts us even if there is no answer. Faith heals even if there is no cure. Faith gives life even if there is no more chance. Faith proves there is a far better life after this. It confirms there is a life after death even if no one has proven it yet. Faith pleases God and we know we make Him smile even we can not see Him at all. Through faith, we know He is watching over us. He is out there somewhere, helping and caring for His people who does not stop believing and trusting. In faith there is nothing impossible. Let us hold on and keep fighting a good fight of faith, despite all. Let us recommend faith, everybody needs one for sure.

To God be the glory. May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you today. Pick faith, live by it and recommend it to everyone.

Narrow Way is the Way of Life, Just Be Patient

In real life, the narrow way is never an option if there’s a highway to choose from. We would never choose the narrow way over an interstate. Life for many is certainly a rush. We want most of the things done at the end of the day or sooner the better. I think the correct term is “right now”. We are always in a hurry and tend to worry about too many things at the same time. Things that we shouldn’t worry not until next week or not even next month. We often worry too soon and way too much. Let us choose the narrow way and be patient. Let us wait. God will reward us if we patiently wait for Him. Many for sure can’t patiently wait. Count me out. I’ll try harder to wait.

Psalms 37:7 –Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Mathew 6:34 – Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

The narrow way is greater and wider than we may see.

Spend more time to look farther and deeper than usual. Let us widen our views and insights in life and on many things around us. The way we think has changed us through the years it is time to check and balance our scale. It may have influenced us to become a more hardworking employee but less a parent or made us stricter but less kind. It can definitely narrow our field of vision and draw us intolerable to many things. The passing of years was a factor. However, the real culprit was the perception and the understanding of things. It may have transformed us for the better or may have reversed us to the worst. By the passing of time, we might have changed incredibly but it seems unnoticeable to us personally. Though, everyone had already an impression of who we are and even yet a reputation that we couldn’t tear. Everyone knew you except you. We changed a lot. To some it takes them gradually to change and to some it was just spontaneous. The road that we are taking can definitely change us. We need to modify our way of life because of the road conditions ahead of us. Narrow way might be a little bumpy but it should keep us slow, steady and safe.narrow way

2 Corinthians 4:18 – While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Narrow way may seem to be slower at first.

We need to wait. Let us learn to wait. Waiting can be fun if you wait while singing, eating, relaxing or thinking. Do not wait and not do anything. Waiting is boring if you literally keep on just waiting. We have to do something productive and not simply let the clock tic. Being patient is a virtue and not everyone has it. We need to wait for things worth waiting for. The more you wait the more you’ll appreciate it. Most things don’t happen instantly although it is a trend that man is an avid inventor of “instant and quick”. Instant and fast foods, fast oil change and auto bill pay; and getting married in minutes or divorce right away are becoming the thing of our generation. As if we always need to solve the problems of being slow. We want everything faster and easier. No more place for waiting and taking your time. Let us think at least twice before we talk and do something. Funny to say, some of us may not think anymore. We just do things to get it over with. Therefore, passion and devotion is gone. Our activities become our routine. Routine becomes plain burden. Responsibility becomes accountability and liability without social regard. We get bored all the time.

Most of us want everything to be fast, if the other can make it faster the better. Who wants a slow car? Who wants a dial up internet connectivity? Who else uses a telegram? Nowadays, a simple message can’t even wait and we need to text it while driving.

Romans 5:3-4 – And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

We need patience to experience things differently. And as we experience them we develop and grow are hope of many things. We establish relationships. And letting the relationship progress naturally. The moments, the pain and the delight of experiencing it with someone will bring about the greatest hope in us. Since the affection was properly nurtured and cared upon through time.

Mathew 11:29 – Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Narrow way leads us to have a better understanding

Some may learn fast and memorize things instantaneously but still Knowledge and wisdom requires enough time. We have to learn from our Lord Jesus Christ. Understanding and knowing Him requires even more allotment. We can not say we surely know Him  when we ourselves are not acquainted to our own surroundings.

Jesus Christ chose the direction towards the cross. He did not worry about many things that concerns tomorrow. Furthermore, He chose us. Through His sufferings He was able to offer us salvation. Jesus chose the narrow way.

2 Peter 3:18 – But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Let us grow to know our Creator. To grow anything it needs time We have to give more efforts to understand Him. Wisdom is a gift that can be asked. Obviously, we need to ask first. And then before you can have it we have to wait till He hand it over to us. After which, we have to verify and confirm the contents.

Getting in the narrow way does not end the journey but an act of approval to embark. The passing of the narrow way is an expedition we have to navigate and succeed until we arrive at our final and last destination.

Acts 17:11 – These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

We need to patiently study His words for in them we may learn to handle our lives. His words are also the source of life and He is the giver of eternal life. The reward is so great and we need to double our time and spend more hours for Him. We will not choose the wide and easy road but the narrow and small. Man always chooses the easy way out but God wants us to choose the best way in. The best way is the narrow way, the most difficult one. Despite being the most difficult way if you travel with God it will surprisingly be the easiest and pleasant way.

Proverbs 14:12 – There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

We need to choose the narrow way. A narrow way that seems difficult and unpassable but to us who believes in Christ it is the only way. We should prefer to wait patiently for something priceless and invaluable. We should select to work hard and get compensated abundantly rather than a quick cash with undesirable consequences.

The easy and wide road becomes the worst road that we could take because it is the wrong way.

May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you today.

Truth, its Power, Beliefs and Potential

Why hold on something which is not of the Truth?

Who wants to hold on to something which is not true? Who would dare to protect and defend lies? The ignorant and the fools may not be guilty of nurturing erroneous and misleading informations if they do it unintentionally. But perversely, there are some who intends to utilize deception and lies to entrap many for their own selfish motives. They hate righteousness and tends to always twist it in their favor. We should seek it and should be knowledgeable in recognizing what is righteous and what is not. It has it’s powers and potential for both the good and evil.

What is the truth?

It should be something undisputedly right and anything that conforms to reality. It is factual and exact, no inaccuracies, all precise, utterly correct and truthful. It is never a lie nor a deception. It is genuinely sincere and honest. It should be caused by righteousness and charity but not by greed and evil thoughts. The truth should be the true in any angle and in all corners. If we debase the very meaning of it within ourselves, our very own standard of what is the truth gets affected as well.

The truth in us?

We choose the truth to believe but it clearly may not be the truth. We can mold the truth in us. We create the thought and understanding of something to be the truth.  We may easily be convinced by others but it is easier to convince ourselves that we are in the truth. It is not just something it came from the sky and fell in front of us. We chose it and not the other way around. We decide, we pick and believe on whatever we wanted to believe maybe the truth. We are the reason there are so many truths among the forgers and slanders. It was not achieved because it found us. We made fables into truths and we granted the lies access to our hearts. It persuaded us that fabrications are acceptable and we gave a chance for the evil to evolve and become almost genuine and indistinguishable. We created them in our hearts to make us think that we are right and justified. Truth became corrupted to many. It became our own beliefs and it hooked us in our psychological or emotional dilemmas. It is the truth only to us that doesn’t conform to the real world. Who did we fool? What will be our end?

Truth as a sword.
truth
The power of the pen

Truth is something we should cherish and take good care of. Hence, truth arrived because of His grace and love for us. Truth can be mishandled and misrepresented. We should treasure it and give it to someone we could trust and some one we knew could keep his composure all the time. Since the truth is powerful as a two-edge sword (Hebrews 4:12, like the Word of God). It is too sharp to keep it around and too useful to tuck it away. It is handy against your enemies but it is too pointy to play with, that you may poke someone you love or just directly hurt yourself. He who wields the truth can easily hurt and defend someone with it. It is a powerful weapon to all kinds of people at any time. It is effective against anybody from the penniless up to the presidents and royalties. Everyone is somewhat afraid of the truth. It may crumple them to pieces or lift someone else into adoration. Like Newton said, “for every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction”. It can be hurtful and degrading as a bad news. But at the same time, it can also be a great news to the next door neighbor.

Reckon on history and you will discover countless events of misinformation. Up to this point in time, history can be rewritten anytime and can hurt someone anew.

Truth is near

It is just here. It can be achieved and it can be followed. Though not candidly but in an acceptable form. Though it is not perfect but in an admissible fashion. As long as we have pure motives and fitting desires to acknowledge God in our lives. Then, I can say we are safe, presumably.  But the judgment still resides at the end to conclude and finalize everything.

Seek the truth

We are responsible to seek it. We need to find it and let our lives overflow with it. We need to speak, act and believe only the truth without malice and selfish intentions. We live in a society that is dependent to the truth. Without truth and integrity, the system will fail and our world will be undesirable. We will live in fear and turmoil. Everyone will be for themselves and there will be no sense of justice. It is needed all the time and everywhere. Somehow the belief of a deity and being a Christian keeps everything in check within ourselves. Our beliefs should be within the moral boundaries, acceptable truth and in righteousness. Though some may use beliefs to pave way for their evil agenda. Not limited to introducing ideas that would sway our moral values to the opposite side of the fence causing a ruckus.

Truth saves

All men came short to the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Although the truth was present in all generations. It was offered to men for fairness and righteousness. It was not enough, we needed someone who would bring the truth without any guile. Jesus came to the world from the Father to introduce to us the best truths and greatest hopes in life. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one can go to the Father except thru Him No man had known the Father except Him and to whomsoever He will reveal the truth about His Father. From these clear statements we can directly reason out that He is the only way. Truth saves because that certain truth came from our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the best truth that we could ever believe in our lifetime (John 5:24).

The truth will set us free and keep us pacified among many.  It is our peace, confidence and strength against tribulations and hardships in life. Knowing it will calm us in the midst of a great storm. It is our way to salvation and our ticket to everlasting life. One of His greatest facts he shared to us, is about the greatest love that a man could do is to lay down his own life for the sake of His friends.

For now, it is just one of the beliefs. But it is the best belief of truth that offers peace in this life and life after death. A truth that will well be determined and justified soon enough. Who can beat that?

May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you today.
