Are You Ready For His Coming?

Are you ready? (A series of questions)

Are you ready to give up your dreams? Are you ready to quit your job? Are you ready to abandon your home and go to the wilderness? Are you ready to lose everything? Are you ready to give everything to God?  Are you ready to follow your faith unconditionally? Are you ready to obey the leaders anointed by God? Are you ready to fully submit yourself to the church? Are you ready and willing to sacrifice your life for others? Are you ready to suffer and to face persecutions for His name’s sake even unto death? Are you ready and worthy to accept His promises of salvation and reward? Are you really ready to receive His judgments upon you?

Luke 21:35 – For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Most of us may not yet be ready any time soon including myself. But we should be prepared anytime no matter what. This is salvation we are talking about. It is the very reason why we exist and have faith in the first place. We believe and serve for the sole purpose of pleasing Him as we may be worthy of His salvation.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 – Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

When will you be ready? (A series of answers)

When I receive my diploma. When I receive my master’s degree. When I find a job. When I find a better job. When I get a promotion and a hefty raise. When I have my dream car. When I finish building my dream house. When I get married. When my son reached his teens. When my children are old enough. When my grandchildren are old enough.  When I have an “X” amount of money in my bank account. When I have procured dozens of real estate properties. When I have traveled around the globe. When I’m satisfied and contented with what I have. When I’m old and retired. When I’m sickly and frail.

Conclusion of the matter

There is no single event that will actually make you ready. Every step of the way has issues of its own, one after another. There are new urgencies that you will desire when opening consecutive doors after another. Today you may desperately need a doctor but the next day you may frantically need a police officer. Our needs change as well as our desires, emotions and perceptions. Universally, there is no true answer to human sanity and desires. Except of course, the righteous path of Godliness with Contentment.

Anytime you can be ready to sacrifice and to do the most difficult things in life. It all depends on your spiritual enlightenment and maturity. It may be harsh and severe but we have to decide.

You can argue, complain and rebel as much as you want but God is coming whether we like it or not. It could be soon or not but He is coming for sure. It is never up to us. It is His intention and motivation from the very beginning. It is His decision and not ours. It is and it was all up to Him.

Matthew 4:17 – From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

If He arrives later, we should be able to shout “praise the Lord”. If He arrives earlier than we expected, we should as well be able to shout “amen”. We should be ready anytime.

Nonetheless, His arrival can precisely be drawn by the children of the light through His marvelous words. How blessed are His children.

Daniel 12:12 –  Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

God’s Design, See Further and Beyond

As we consider ourselves to be believers and faithful servants of God we always have to look further and beyond our realm.  The norm and standard will not always apply to us. We have our own path. Coherently, it may be over and above man’s understanding, not always but frequently it is. Our lives will not always be in the pages of books that we read. We have our own unlikely dilemmas and pickles to face but we have the most certain exceptional results. Open your eyes, observe and hopefully, we’ll see further and beyond.

This only applies to whomever obeys God.

Obeying God is the ultimate sacrifice we could offer. He asks us of nothing less. Your life is  secure if you are confident that you are submitting yourself to God’s will. When in doubt, it only means one thing. We are probably in the opposing side, a displeasure in his sight. The labors and pains might be unbearable but the results are unprecedentedly phenomenal and impressive. This is how God works in his obedient servants. His design is flawless. His plans are wonderful and difficult to believe. It is quite a breathtaking feat and almost impossible to be meet until it all materialize.

Keep on sailing, let the wind blow you away to your destination!
Keep on sailing, let the wind blow you away to your destination!
God’s designs are not anyone’s design

Trust is the key in the world of faith in God. We have to hope and trust  Him. No matter how challenging it is. Obedience should always remain in us. At the end of the day, it is how we always get justified. Because disobedience is the way straight down to dishonor, failure and displeasing God.

Romans 4: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

But how can we obey if we don’t fully understand? That is what we call obedience through faith. You just see the author and the finisher, His track record and His promises. You have proven who gives the command and you are a fool not to follow Him. You knew Him well that you should trust Him with your life. God had already showed us many times and demonstrated His worth, more than anything and anyone. He is so reliable that He should’nt be given the benefit of the doubt. But should be given will all the benefit of NO doubt. He deserves an unwavering faith from His creations. Who do you think should trust Him at the rockbottom? Of course those who will be justified as righteous and loyal for which they are appointed of great accolade and wealth.

I don’t think it is necessary for us to know and understand the whole design, the structures and the plan specifics of God in our lives. Who among us was lucky enough that every event and consequence presented itself exactly the way you planned them? That is so unlikely to happen to anyone who believes in our Lord Jesus Christ. There are too many factors to consider. We neither see anything as God sees them.  It is way beyond anyone. Trust comes into play so we have to abide by the rules. Plan ahead in faith and move forward head on as you are led by the Spirit of God. Keep on praying, it never fails. Read His words for it is the only map of infinite treasures.

Keep on serving Him. Glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, the only one true God.

We Are Not The Fool But The Rich

“Howdy? Its been awhile since I was able to write for you all. I was engrossed with having a full plate all the time. Anyways, it is indeed my pleasure to give glory and praises to our Lord Jesus Christ, the savior of the world. No one else can and no one else will save the world but Him alone. Hang tight and hold onto him like there’s no more tomorrow. God bless everyone.”

Here’s the article:

Psalms 14:1 – The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

The verse above is often link to us. It is ill-conceived and totally baseless. The verse is intended for agnostics and skeptics even more to atheists – people who denies the existence of a supreme being. And we are not atheist at all not even minutely close. We have a faith. We are christians with an “absolute one God belief”. A lone belief that is one of a kind in the whole wide world, as far as I know not unless someone plagiarizes us.  From my observations, many pastors from other churches adapted our own explanations on certain topics and embedded it to their own doctrines. It is not beyond us that many more people will start copying our beliefs and reasonings as well. They are now scrambling about the everlasting gospel; revelations to Paul and his bonds; mystery of Christ; and the mystery of God hidden from ages.

James 1:9 – Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

We are not the fool but the rich. We may be impoverished in so many ways and well below at the bottom of the society but contentment is our sword and buckler. The true richest lies in our hearts and to our Lord God who makes us truly rich and abound in all things. True wealth is not hidden in vaults or the ridiculous numbers in our passbooks nevertheless it is not stowed away from us. It is always in us. The faith and hope in God makes us wealthy and rich in this world. It is God who really declares the rich and the poor. He exalts the low degree and humbles down the well-off and the affluent.

But godliness with contentment is great gain.
But godliness with contentment is great gain.

As a recap of our faith, God manifested in flesh. He became our Lord Jesus Christ, as a pure man, nothing more and nothing less. He was away in heaven for a moment  because He came to the world as the son of God, a 100% man. Our doctrine should not give you a headache. It is simple as eating a pizza pie. Unless otherwise, you complicate yourself with other erroneous beliefs available everywhere. Only then, you will definitely have sleepless nights ahead of you.

Hoping you endure till the end and keep on searching the truth thru these pages.

All Objects Come with a Price Tag

No material object that has intrinsic value is free. Every precious commodity is paid for by something of equal value or more. You have to give up something far more valuable to the seller but less valuable to you as a buyer. This is in exchange for something you are interested in. Something you wanted so bad that you are willing to give up your hard earned money.  It also goes the other way around. Somehow your cherished collections for decades are now less valuable since you’re willing to trade it for a chunk of change. Desires and needs change overtime and value tags along with it.

all objects come with a price tag
As you step higher it becomes harder for you to step down and the risk of hurting yourself increases.

Even abstract matters call for some sort of a sacrifice. If you want to be respected by others you have to earn it, same goes with reputation, honor and glory. You have to work for it to achieve a certain degree. If you always indulge yourself on complimentary things then you are exposing your character and stature to the public. You may save some penny here and there but others may call you a cheapo or stingy. Everything comes with a price. Nothing is really for free. But anything that is given for free is generally has no value. They may cost a few bucks but it is almost certain as free (insignificant in value). Remember, every rule of thumb comes with exception and unlikely.

Material wealth works the same way as well. If you want a house then you have to buy one by working really hard, putting aside some savings, a good credit rating and the list goes on and on. Thus, wanting a bigger house or even a luxury estate is another narration of further undertakings and troubles in life. Things become complicated as you complicate your desires, needs and wants. Do you want to be the group leader, the supervisor or maybe the plant manager in your factory? Or if you want to be the owner of a fortune 500 company, then that even requires unimaginable amount of sweat and pains which is  almost next to impossible. Whatever your desires in life comes with a price tag. A price tag that is at least commensurate to your object of desire. It is an unbroken relationship of things that they are always parallel, matched and consistent as they are being traded against each other. They are not free. We have to give up something concrete and even things that are intangible and invisible. Often times these things like time, stress and peace of mind may even cost more than anything at an express points and moments. Although we are so blessed as rational creations of God. We have options and a free will of our own to be contented or to burden our lives.

The greatest things are intangible and non concrete but surprisingly, it is free. They are priceless and most valuable among all. We should not take them for granted, namely faith, hope and love. However, to keep and nurture them they come with a price. They deserve our utmost effort, time and even wealth. For instance, the gospel of Christ is freely preached upon us but to nourish, understand and develop our faith it requires us to pray, fast and going to church regularly.

Touch Not My Anointed

Psalms 105:15 – Saying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm  is one of the most protective and reassuring statements of our Lord God to His people. It may imply to a group of people, His anointed nation-Israel (in a certain degree) or to specific servants of God, the prophets. The thought that we may all be included as His anointed and chosen people is simply invigorating and empowering. But these statements are not meant to apply to everybody . It is a direct words of protection and security for His servants. These words are technically meant for His prophets and His anointed leaders like David and may not as well include any of us (gentiles), not maybe atleast until the new testament arrives. Of course, let us not forget our Lord Jesus, the Christ, the anointed one.

touch not my anointedUnfortunately, the whole world is not entirely God’s anointed. His anointed ones are just specks and dust particles in comparison to the entire population of mankind. They are so few in numbers, too few that we could even mention them one by one. They are the ones who were chosen for a specific purpose and function. They are leaders, disciples and God Himself that were part of God’s plan for humanity.

1 Chronicles 16:22 – Saying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Touch not my anointed, His anointing is so powerful and mighty

In the old testament, an anointed one had generally had undergone a literal pouring of oil on his head. And they are specifically chosen and ordained by God thru His revelations or ordinances like kings and prophets. It may sound unreal but it is how anointed ones are in the beginning. They are appointed by God who speaks to them and gives them direct instructions.

These exclusive words are so vigilant and authoritative but very warm. Encapsulating His anointed people in His protective shelter and providence. The assurance of God of being under His custody is so homey and safeguarding. They are safe, sound and completely “bulletproof” against anything, well above and beyond one’s imagination of what protection is. They are under the refuge and watchful eyes of our Lord God. They are simply under the guidance of the Almighty God, who then can be against them? Thus, we have all the reasons to be jealous (in a good way) of His anointed. We should have all the determinations and perseverance to be on the good side of our Lord. For sure there are ways to belong in His safety net but not that many. It all starts from serving Him above all and giving all your best to Him.

The Word of God is the Food for the Soul

The best food for the soul and greatest advises in life will be from the Words of God. It is the sweetest and the most distinguished thing offered to us by anyone. Not just by anybody but the author of life Himself. He had given His written words of life to everyone who believes and trusts Him. We are a fool not to eat and indulge ourselves with His words. Though we should not stop from the first bite and we should be inspired not to let even a few crumbs go to waste.

The Holy Scripture in contrast is complete as our world which has full of variety of foods. The foods all around us has all the flavors more than our taste buds could ever distinguish and dream of. It will be like a plethora of prairie beast who lived within the walls of the urban districts. It is a grand feast of all our needs in life. It is time for us to desire and appreciate the Holy Scripture and His words even more. Let us come around and should slowly churn it and savor the zest of its reassurances and promises. The words of God are dedicated for all of us and to all that serves and gives His life to Him. It is His pronouncement and expression that He will always guide us and will never abandon us as we follow Him even further.

The Word of God is the superfood for the soul

Many foods that are odorous and with unpleasant taste are very good and healthy for our body consumption. Meat like steaks and other grilled meats are juicy, flavorful and tender but they are generally unhealthy and troublesome to digest. We need to broaden our minds and understanding. When it comes to our spiritual foods we should also desire a balance healthy diet. Some of His laws and inspired words in the scripture may sound unreal and written out of order but it is usually us who misinterpret it. Nothing in the bible is written wrong and nothing is out of touch. It is us who miscalculate, distort and may pervert the scriptures for our own benefits and for the justification of our own beliefs. Other versions may confuse and become bias at some point but if the Spirit of truth is with you, you will always end up with correct judgments and righteous understandings.

Proverbs 30:5 – Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Psalms 119:140 – Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.

word of god is food for the soul
The Word of God is the food for the soul. The most “nutritious” super food of all.

All scripture is written for our aid and welfare. Many times we are in need of inspirations, encouragements and even condemnations so we could properly regroup our thoughts and acts. His inspired words are not all cakes, sweets or deserts. It is accurate to say that they are the healthiest foods around us but they are not always as the best tasting and the most succulent ones. Some may be inferior when it comes to our tongue and appearance but they are the super nutritious foods that fights off infections and regulates our body (soul) precisely that prevents and even heals all kinds of disorders. But if you get used to it, they are superbly delicious.  And they are the foods that we truly need. They are the sustenance that we try to scamper when we are ailing and feeling sick. We don’t care if they are expensive, too scarce to find and out of season. We will try to gather and gobble them no matter.

The words of God are like surgical operations

The words of God are like surgical operations which are done to repair our internal organs or to remove malfunctioning tissues that causes abnormalities in our system. Without the anesthetics, it will surely be excruciatingly painful and laborious. His scripture as well may be distasteful and it may even hurt or offend us but all are meant for our own sake and well being. The words of God will not deliver itself. It is often delivered to us by a preacher and missionaries. A faithful preacher meant you no harm.  Maybe he is just heavily poking our arm that has tiny veins with a syringe or maybe there is no enough pain-killers in our bloodstream to start with. There are various reasons. But the words of God should not be sugar coated at all for us to absorb it.  However, somehow it has to be done for others.

Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

2 Timothy 3:16 – All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

God never wanted us to be a weakling forever but to become stronger and able. We can only grow and be fully developed by absorbing His words that waters and fertilizes us to become fruitful. He obviously wants us to be harvested fully mature and in full bloom.

Even His Plan Needs Time

Even God’s plan needs time. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith. How did He become the author? And how can He finish our faith? Can faith really end and when does one’s faith ends? There are many question but not enough time to answer them all. Since we have to answer them all in detail and in strands. And yet ultimately, all things can be achieved through time but man don’t have enough time in his hands.

Faith can end upon His plan

Faith ends when that something that you believe had finally materialize. It bloomed and transpired into a colorful flower you dreamed of. Your faith can either give in or be achieved but as soon as time is depleted you will know exactly that your faith is at the finale. Your faith in that single event is forfeited and consummated. However, as Christians and faithful believers our cycle of faith never ends up until the promised salvation as such we have to continue on believing. Even faith needs time to happen.

1 Peter 1:9 – Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

plan needs time

Time is part of His plan. God’s plan needs time

God’s plan is no different. Even God needs time for His plans to take place. Time is essential to become the author and the finisher. To plan, create and build are the easiest for Him. Nonetheless it is the test of time that you can never rush. You can not spawn 50 years from just 5 days or 5 years. The likelihood of having the precise outcomes and sequences of events procuring the desired results after is the real trouble and dilemma. Though the thrill of His plans are the actual occurrence of events thus, it has to be dispense accordingly. The Finisher as His given title is one of the trickiest part of being God. Although He did succeed above all not because He is God but He is – who He is. Patiently thru time He waited and endured. God achieved things perfectly because He let His plan ran its course. And God has all the time in the universe to let His plans work perfectly. He is indeed a gracious, compassionate and an enduring God.

James 1:4 – But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

plan needs time

Our time is part of the equation of God’s plan

We believe in so many things in life. We got so many excuses, we may not have enough aptitude, resources or the power to do things. But most importantly, the truth is we have no time to prove or disprove all of the things we believe in. Time is a commodity that gets depleted and many men chooses to think they have all the time in the world. No, our time is but limited. When you don’t fully believe, trust and obey God never expect that time is in your hands. Chance and time will soon cease and stop. You have to swiftly and urgently race towards Him because He owns all the time.

However, if God has a work and purpose for you, all you have to do is trust Him  and wait patiently. God’s plan will work out perfectly just give it some time. Never be bothered by time since it is at your side, a formidable ally.

His anointed church and members of the church should learn to patiently wait for God’s grand plan to transpire. His plan will happen in time. As He had chosen us, we have all the defined time that determines our victorious end. No need to hurry and worry too much.

A blessed and a happy Foundation to all.

Importance of Church – Authority and Influence

The influence and importance of church is relevant and distinguishable. There is a unique but a powerful designation of God to His church. The church was appointed for salvation. As we all know, our Lord Jesus Christ is the groom and the bride is the church. It was the promise and obligation of the groom to save His bride no matter what. To the groom, the bride is the most important entity. There is no way the groom will abandon His bride. The bride will always receive her destiny of salvation and grace. Without the bride the marriage will never take place and the groom will be wrapped up as unfaithful and untrue.

importance of church
The church is destined for greatness and with an almost infinite glory as the bride of the Son of God. The importance of church should not be taken lightly. Photo credit: Freedigitalphotos.net
What is the power of the church? The importance of church to  the groom

Being the bride she has a destiny and a foreordained authority of being one with the groom. The groom is the Son of God, His knowledge, glory and sovereignity is being the heir of the Almighty. The son differs from the father but as soon as the father appoints it the son becomes the Lord. Our belief implies that the Father and the Son are the same person, referring to only one entity or existence. There is a dispensation of time of its role as the father and the son but only one God who is the Father of all who for a moment became the 100% man as the Son of God. It was determined by God that the church will become one with the son. A union thru marriage of whom God established and originated it. It was His ultimate designation. Thus, giving the church an exponential power and authority because of the determined union of our Lord Jesus Christ to the church.

The importance of church for our salvation

We may discredit the church. We may forget her power and smear her reputation but in reality the church is destined for greatness and with an almost infinite glory. It has authority for anointing and granting salvation to its subjects and to anyone who enters it. It is a common understanding that whatever the bride decides or desires the groom will try His best upon His influence to make things happen. The bride is supposed to follow the groom on His plans and arrangements however the bride was also given access to tap on her own decisions that may not implicate on the general destiny of the church. The church may decide on her own that may burden or lighten the groom but will not totally impede the inevitability of the church’s fate.

The “metaphoric compound church” (scattered in various times and locations) intended for the marriage was established by the lamb himself. It was promised by the lamb that the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Although, I will not expound more on the importance, capabilities and influence of the church but I’m sure you will manage. Because they are definitely noteworthy and monumental.

Ephesians 5:32 KJV – This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

How Wealthy are You?

How wealthy are you my friend? To be wealthy, rich or being well-off in life is probably the most common dream of everyone. However, we always imagine affluence in our mind to be the familiar picture of luxury, prosperity and comfort. We believe so many things that are evidently clear but still misleads us to intricate situations and consequences. A belief which is not according to the righteousness of God will surely direct us to the muddy waters in life.

How wealthy are you will not fill the emptiness in your heart. The abundance of things does not assure us of happiness and peace of mind. A burst of euphoria may be achieved but never with a long lasting effect. Happiness may be rarer among the wealthy and the rich. It is so difficult to chase and reach it without the help of people around us and of course a different perspective from above. Although being impoverished has its downsides and almost unsurmountable drawbacks, it does not mean you will never find happiness and peace at all. Remember, the rich are at a staggering low in number compared to the poor. Most people are poor. But it does not necessarily mean that there are no many happy and peaceful people in the world.

Ecclessiates 7:12 – For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

how wealthy are you
How wealthy are you in life should not be about the amount of material things. It should be about happiness, content and peace of mind.
How wealthy are you with priceless commodities?

Yes, being rich offers major leverages and relatively strong support on almost anything. The Holy Bible acknowledges it too and yet it does not tolerate and promote it as the principal thing. But it is only a negligible resolution, an immediate action under certain circumstances. What then are the principal things? Of course, the gifts of the Holy Ghost and the greatest things of life. Which cannot be bought by any amount. They are priceless and beyond any abundance in this life. What will money do if you have no hope in your life? Can you literally buy hope and have confidence in your heart? You may gain some friends because you are wealthy. But are they going to be true to their friendships and stay with you through thick and thin. Friendships are mutual in nature but most friendships can be parasitic – selfish, clingy and exhausting. True friendships are trustworthy and dependable. You may be poor but having a true friend makes you a lot richer than most.

How wealthy are you to Him?

You are rich when you truly fear God and adores Him above all. Since the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Getting interested and seeking Him is the best thing a man could ever do in his life. Fearing Him is the secret of having more knowledge and eventually it is the path to success and happiness. Are you wise and right? Wisdom and righteousness is relevant in wealth building. Without righteousness and the understanding of choosing the right things to do, you are left with wrong decisions and  perilous days ahead of you. Who are the people who surrounds you and the people who actually loves you makes it distinct when you count your real wealth in life. You may have a few acquaintances but what counts are the people that matters to you the most. Are they around to support you and to cherish every moments of your ups and downs? Material wealth and abundancy does not matter without anyone to share with.

Ask yourself this, what are your wants and desires? How many of them makes you anxious and uneasy? How many of them have this urge of fulfilling them as soon as possible? You know what,   wealth is measured in the fewness of wants. The less things you desire the richer you are and the richer you become. Wanting and longing for more exhibits poverty and discontent. I believe greed and covetousness was always the culprit that causes discontent and anxiety.

How wealthy are you? It can be answered by asking another question with – what is your perspective in your own life?

Severity of God and His Goodness

The goodness of God is not far-fetched from His love. He is good because He loves us. His goodness is the greatest kindness of all as His love. The greatest love is not the love of the mothers’ nor the fathers’ love but the love of God. God’s love is the greatest love above all. Our Lord God is the father of mercies and God of all comfort. No one is comparable to His love and goodness. God is love Himself. He is the God of love and the love of God is the greatest love that one can ever feel and have. His goodness is everywhere until such time His severity takes over them who will disobey and forget Him. He can be harsh and cruel at the end of the day. Don’t test His temper.

severity of God
The creation of heaven and earth is part of His gracious plan of goodness and love.

Romans 11:22 – Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

He created everything for His goodness and severity

God created everything for a purpose. He designated every object in certainty. He was sure with His creations. He knows the end game. He was right and victorious from the beginning to the end. He succeeded and will succeed no matter what. His last enemy was already defeated. Nothing and no one will win against Him. It was already predetermined and done since He defeated death – His last enemy that can actually make the difference. However, that was a few thousand years ago. He devised only two paths, nothing more and nothing less.

Get ready and be prepared for His coming and judgment. He will come. He is closer and nearer than ever before. Are you ready? Are we confident to meet Him face to face? Are we inclined to see our love ones who we dearly missed because of their sudden departure? If not, then let’s get ready and be prepped for His coming. For the believers and saints, His coming is the greatest hope of mankind. And that is precisely the truth.

Fear His severity

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

You can cry before you are hurt. This is how serious the matter is. Let us fear Him beyond any of these around us. Let us not fear anything or anyone that could hurt us physically but fear God even more and give reverence to Him. We are foolish not to fear Him. Be warned and be cautious. To fear Him is to depart from evil.

Proverbs 16:6 – By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.

severity of god
Even in this modern world, a dreadful day will come. Though, it will only exhibit the partial severity of God. Since it is beyond our imagination.

He is not visibly and concretely around. Although His presence is everywhere, thus He can do the worst and make things end anytime He pleases. He is that powerful and mighty. He is not called the Almighty for no obvious reasons.  He is equally the giver and taker of every single piece of anything including our dear lives. Let Him be your dread upon all the frights.

Don’t get me wrong. He is an awesome God, full of marvels and wonders but He is the scariest when He is. His goodness is unmatched as well as His severity. He can be furious and show His wrath as He pleases. He is hard and cannot be bended. No one can advise nor teach Him. He is always sure and certain of His desires and plans. No one can endure His indignation. We should never be against Him. His violence is ironclad and cannot be contained by anyone. When it is late then it is really too late. There is no more clemency and grace. Repentance and penitence has no power and influence anymore. If the end has come, you already had missed the boat. And there is no force nor power that can turn it back. His mercies are depleted and exhausted. It is the end.
