Psalms 105:15 – Saying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm is one of the most protective and reassuring statements of our Lord God to His people. It may imply to a group of people, His anointed nation-Israel (in a certain degree) or to specific servants of God, the prophets. The thought that we may all be included as His anointed and chosen people is simply invigorating and empowering. But these statements are not meant to apply to everybody . It is a direct words of protection and security for His servants. These words are technically meant for His prophets and His anointed leaders like David and may not as well include any of us (gentiles), not maybe atleast until the new testament arrives. Of course, let us not forget our Lord Jesus, the Christ, the anointed one.
Unfortunately, the whole world is not entirely God’s anointed. His anointed ones are just specks and dust particles in comparison to the entire population of mankind. They are so few in numbers, too few that we could even mention them one by one. They are the ones who were chosen for a specific purpose and function. They are leaders, disciples and God Himself that were part of God’s plan for humanity.
1 Chronicles 16:22 – Saying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Touch not my anointed, His anointing is so powerful and mighty
In the old testament, an anointed one had generally had undergone a literal pouring of oil on his head. And they are specifically chosen and ordained by God thru His revelations or ordinances like kings and prophets. It may sound unreal but it is how anointed ones are in the beginning. They are appointed by God who speaks to them and gives them direct instructions.
These exclusive words are so vigilant and authoritative but very warm. Encapsulating His anointed people in His protective shelter and providence. The assurance of God of being under His custody is so homey and safeguarding. They are safe, sound and completely “bulletproof” against anything, well above and beyond one’s imagination of what protection is. They are under the refuge and watchful eyes of our Lord God. They are simply under the guidance of the Almighty God, who then can be against them? Thus, we have all the reasons to be jealous (in a good way) of His anointed. We should have all the determinations and perseverance to be on the good side of our Lord. For sure there are ways to belong in His safety net but not that many. It all starts from serving Him above all and giving all your best to Him.
The best food for the soul and greatest advises in life will be from the Words of God. It is the sweetest and the most distinguished thing offered to us by anyone. Not just by anybody but the author of life Himself. He had given His written words of life to everyone who believes and trusts Him. We are a fool not to eat and indulge ourselves with His words. Though we should not stop from the first bite and we should be inspired not to let even a few crumbs go to waste.
The Holy Scripture in contrast is complete as our world which has full of variety of foods. The foods all around us has all the flavors more than our taste buds could ever distinguish and dream of. It will be like a plethora of prairie beast who lived within the walls of the urban districts. It is a grand feast of all our needs in life. It is time for us to desire and appreciate the Holy Scripture and His words even more. Let us come around and should slowly churn it and savor the zest of its reassurances and promises. The words of God are dedicated for all of us and to all that serves and gives His life to Him. It is His pronouncement and expression that He will always guide us and will never abandon us as we follow Him even further.
The Word of God is the superfood for the soul
Many foods that are odorous and with unpleasant taste are very good and healthy for our body consumption. Meat like steaks and other grilled meats are juicy, flavorful and tender but they are generally unhealthy and troublesome to digest. We need to broaden our minds and understanding. When it comes to our spiritual foods we should also desire a balance healthy diet. Some of His laws and inspired words in the scripture may sound unreal and written out of order but it is usually us who misinterpret it. Nothing in the bible is written wrong and nothing is out of touch. It is us who miscalculate, distort and may pervert the scriptures for our own benefits and for the justification of our own beliefs. Other versions may confuse and become bias at some point but if the Spirit of truth is with you, you will always end up with correct judgments and righteous understandings.
Proverbs 30:5 – Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Psalms 119:140 – Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
All scripture is written for our aid and welfare. Many times we are in need of inspirations, encouragements and even condemnations so we could properly regroup our thoughts and acts. His inspired words are not all cakes, sweets or deserts. It is accurate to say that they are the healthiest foods around us but they are not always as the best tasting and the most succulent ones. Some may be inferior when it comes to our tongue and appearance but they are the super nutritious foods that fights off infections and regulates our body (soul) precisely that prevents and even heals all kinds of disorders. But if you get used to it, they are superbly delicious. And they are the foods that we truly need. They are the sustenance that we try to scamper when we are ailing and feeling sick. We don’t care if they are expensive, too scarce to find and out of season. We will try to gather and gobble them no matter.
The words of God are like surgical operations
The words of God are like surgical operations which are done to repair our internal organs or to remove malfunctioning tissues that causes abnormalities in our system. Without the anesthetics, it will surely be excruciatingly painful and laborious. His scripture as well may be distasteful and it may even hurt or offend us but all are meant for our own sake and well being. The words of God will not deliver itself. It is often delivered to us by a preacher and missionaries. A faithful preacher meant you no harm. Maybe he is just heavily poking our arm that has tiny veins with a syringe or maybe there is no enough pain-killers in our bloodstream to start with. There are various reasons. But the words of God should not be sugar coated at all for us to absorb it. However, somehow it has to be done for others.
Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
2 Timothy 3:16 – All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
God never wanted us to be a weakling forever but to become stronger and able. We can only grow and be fully developed by absorbing His words that waters and fertilizes us to become fruitful. He obviously wants us to be harvested fully mature and in full bloom.
As everyone knows, God is immortal and He can not die. Yes indeed, I certainly agree with that notion. He is the all powerful mighty Being – an immortal God and for sure, no one can ever end His life. Nevertheless, put Him to defeat nor even bring Him to a faint destruction. He is undeniably the only one God and not less than the creator of everything. But the real question that we do need to address is not just about God’s immortality. It is about God’s limitation. Is God limited on things that He can and can not do? Can God simply not die even He chooses to? I beg to greatly disagree. We can not limit and prohibit God – never, not now and not in a lifetime. Who are we to stop Him on whatever He pleases? But Yes, God simply being “god” could not die but if He decided to die for a moment, no one can stop Him, not you, not satan and not even His angels. He can not be called the King of kings and Lord of lords if He has no real authority after all.
Isaiah 46:10 – Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
God can do anything that pleases Him. He will do it. He will perform it. There will be no setback, no limitation and no stoppage. He is truly the Almighty God.
How did the immortal God die?
God is a God of truth, faithfulness and full of principles. He is always of the truth and never lies. He loves righteousness all the way. But He has no pleasure with evil and corrupt. Since God can not disrupt His own precept and core foundation of truth, He needs to dismantle it in a natural course. Engaging His own fundamentals head on without deception, fraud and trickery. He will not violate His system. God can not simply end His life that is why He needed to become 100% man. God can not die but man dies, he has a flesh and mortal body. God became our Lord Jesus Christ, a man who died to redeem the world. He was a 100% man no “godly attribute” at all for a period of atleast three decades. However, He is not a mere man before and after His manifestation, He was God above all that does everything in His pleasure.
Is dying wicked? Can death be a righteous act? Can God sacrifice His own life? Why did God choose to die? Will God’s pleasure be really complete without death? Is He a glorious God without sacrificing Himself? Does He feel fear and weakness? Can He fathom man’s mind through sympathy? Does eternal means no end? The Greatest Glory of God, part 2 of 2 parts. Click here for the 1st part,.
If there is a Father and a son of separate entities. Is that the greatest glory of God?
God sent forth His son for a suicide mission (quoted from the Steve Jobs movie) and He succeeded. Can we refer to this as the highest glory of God? No, it is not the greatest glory He can achieve because God can do better. Partially, the Father has some glory too. Although for sure, most glory belongs to our Lord Jesus Christ as He is the one who lived as a man and died at the cross. But for me, as a parent I will not send my only son to battle knowing that He will suffer and die. I would rather send myself instead of him. Who am I compared to the greatest Father of all, I am certainly “nothing”. That is why, the Father did not send His son who is a separate person from Him (He has none) but sent His son by sending Himself to be 100% man and becoming the son of God.
If the man is also a God at the same time.
If God became man but remained the Almighty God altogether can that be the highest glory of God? In that sense, becoming a man is utterly effortless. Can you call that the greatest and highest glory of all. There is no glory in that and certainly not the highest glory. He can do better for sure and He will never do this kind of thing. Why be a God and a man at the same time and damage His own dignity and glory?
Numbers 23:19 – God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
2 Corinthians 3:3 – Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the hear
Luke 19:38 – Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
The greatest glory of God. The only God who is the father of all glory.
It may sound complicated but it is as simple as common sense. For a minute, take away the preconceived ideas and sectarian ideologies in our mind. Hear this. God simply became 100% man. It is like the government asking for your son to join the war but you wouldn’t allow it. That is why you pretended to be your son and joined the army in lieu of him. But in this case, God did not pretend or imitate, He became a real man and took the role of being a servant. He became Jesus Christ our Lord. When He desires to be somebody He portrays it truthfully and genuinely, not half baked and ill-conceived. It is the most difficult thing because He never died yet and never felt powerless and helpless ever before. But He is God, He can do anything that He desires. As you can imagine, doing this will amaze everyone and show His boundless glory.
This greatest glory is exclusive only for Him for this is the greatest sacrifice of all. The risk was unimaginable.
The “very” highest glory of all is commensurate to the greatest sacrifice ever, the greatest risk, the most difficult task, the most impossible thing, the most unexpected and unpredictable event, the most creative wonder; and the most extraordinary triumph of all; and that is Him becoming 100% man. He planned, He came, He died, He resurrected and He was victorious above all. The effort of God from being the greatest and becoming the humblest man is the most distinct act of nobility and most virtuous sacrifice of all. No one can ever duplicate that. That is unmatched in all times. His glory is absolutely stunning and only to Him belongs.
Man’s knowledge of Him grows and can be achieved upon God’s purpose and will.
Man’s truth about God advances for the purpose of confirming and validating more facts about Him and as well as to rebuke fallacies and misinterpretations. However, His truth about Himself is not evolving but always constant and the same. It is His desire to understand Him completely but we will not reach this sum of understanding unless otherwise permitted by Him upon His appointed time. It will strategically be uncovered at the very end of times.
2 Peter 3:18 – But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Glory lies upon the difficulty of an act or how impossible the feat is. The more formidable the task, the greater glory awaits. If it is something ordinary, simple and done effortlessly then the glory is not even worth mentioning. The credit should not be acknowledged as significant as the unique ones. It is just standard to give a worthy glory and honor for an extraordinary accomplishment. It is not righteous to give a lesser degree of acknowledgment for someone who deserves more. On the other hand, it is not also wise to offer more praise or reward for someone who deserves even less. This is just plainly base on logic and common sense. And I know, everyone would agree with me and nothing to disagree with here.
What then is the glory of God that well deserves Him? He deserves the highest, greatest and all the glory all creatures could ever give. He deserves the best and undivided glory of all. He deserves our utmost distinction and grandeur nothing less.
Why many sects give the credit to the son?
Giving credit to the son of man or to the son of God is not the same as giving credit to the Father. They are not the same glory. A father’s glory and a son’s glory are completely dissimilar. The feeling and perception of each are distinct eventhough we are only referring to the same achievement. Why? Because many faiths believe they are not one in personality. There is no way for them to unite the separate glories.
There is only one way to give all glory to Him.
All glory belongs to God. Our God who is the Father of all is our Lord Jesus Christ. He deserves all the glory and praise. He is the creator of all things, the giver of life. The only way to acknowledge Him all the glory is to accept God as our Lord Jesus Christ. God manifested in blood and flesh for about 34 years, nothing more and nothing less. He became a man named Jesus about two thousand years ago. Without accepting Him as God who became a man, glory will be divided and the highest praise and greatest knowledge of Him will never be attained. Accepting Jesus as our Lord God will conclude all glory towards Him as the author and finisher of our faith. It will be an undivided illustration of majesty and splendor. When we are up in heaven, there will be no confusion of who to praise, adore and who to give the highest reverence. No division of honor and glory. Click here for part two and conclusion of the greatest glory of God.
Ephesians 5:20 – Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
When we talk about the truth of all things then the truth is overwhelmingly “too much”. The truth about your health is one thing, the truth about your financial predicament is another so on and so forth. It is quite confusing, I know. Truth is the truth for something at a given time in a definite space on a specific mark. All things have their own truths and facts that may change in time as all things in this world changes. As far I’m concern, there are too many truths around us but not as many as the lies, forgeries or the counterfeits all over. There are too many lies and fewer truths but furthermore there is only one truth about certain subject matters. There is only one truth about God, never two nor three.
Are you looking for your lost wallet which has two credit cards, a hundred dollar bill and lots of sentimental value in it? There is no way you can have the lost wallet without exactly finding it. Your wife might buy the same wallet at the store, replace the hundred dollar bill, the two credit cards and vividly recreate the wear and tear in it. It might even fool you but still, that is just a replica of the misplaced wallet.
Whatever the subject matter is and whatever the facts are, there is only one truth that is accurate and precise that will describe the whole story. There are no other story. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the truth, of the truth and all the truth. There is no truth beside Him, mostly are wolves in a sheep’s skin ready devour anyone on its path.
What if there is no God and that is all the absolute truth there is? Then there is no promise of life after death, no passage from death to life and no reward that awaits us. If that is all the truth then humanity is miserable at its worst inexplicable way. The phrase eternal life is now not even worth mentioning to the slightest sense. We are doomed towards a certain end and conclusion. If that is the truth we cannot make it not true. If it is all the truth then, we can not stop it, change it and create a different path of truth. That is what it is.
Fortunately, that is not true whether you accept it or not. Our God is alive forevermore as our Lord Jesus Christ. God is as invisible as hope, faith and love but without them our world and the universe will not thrive and it will never exist in the first place. He is definitely unseeable but He is evident as the wind that surrounds us.
2 Thessalonians 2:13 – But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
We can not say everyone is correct and all is precise about their beliefs and customs. Look everywhere and all over the world, chapels and shrines are in their all time highs. Utterly correct, we can not say everybody is correctly defining and referring to the same God. His name cannot be many when it is only one. It cannot be one when He has many names. What I’m saying is, there is only one truth about our God. Not many truths about a certain subject but one. Everyone has an explanation of what is His deity is but there is only one explanation of who He really is. Not all, not many but one answer of who He really is. Atleast one group for sure has it all right.
Every congregation of every religion and denomination which may have their own explanations of who God is has only one application to be approved by the Most High. Each and everyone is only given a single shot for the truth. It is a righteous and in a fair playing field. Upon it, there is no respect of persons. There is no beyond and above the system. It does not matter if your organization has a mountain of wealth, the memberships are among the celebrities or with complex subsidiaries of worldwide companies. All these things do not and will not matter to God.
1 Timothy 2:4 – Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
God will not say that all faiths are true.
It may be the truth relative to your own perceptions and individuality or upon your existing structures. But to God that may not clearly be the absolute truth to His perception and knowledge of what really happened. To Him there is only one truth – the most exact story of all and the rest are just false, untrue or insufficient understandings. There is only one truth by God’s judgment despite thousands or even millions of doctrines, beliefs and traditions. It is all up to Him to decide on who is to favor and who is to deny.
Be confident if you divided His words righteously, correctly and with no deceit.
God judges us all through His words and through our Lord Jesus Christ. Without the reminders and discernment of His words we will always be lost. Our path is never fine without Jesus leading and guiding the way. Truth is always in Him for He is the truth and of the truth. That is why only God can judge us correctly and fairly. Why many still don’t believe Him even up until this day? Because many people continue to believe in lies – an intentional untrue information which is use to deceive many.
Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
The blindness of the heart can be blamed behind it. It is the hardness of our hearts that ultimately leads us to disobedience to God’s will. Our characters and perceptions as a whole was cultivated and nurtured by our cultures, upbringing, several desires and by even more factors around us. We may not receive and accept the truth willfully, negligently, or unintentionally because of our ignorance, foolishness, adverse beliefs and/or maybe there is just no inherent care for the truth. These all contributes to the blindness of our hearts which is not alienated from the general plan of God. And people who may actually believe in lies are part of the tale as casualties or even villains in the story.
John 8: 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Truth will set you free from the pain of lies. Since most lies comes with deception and evil motives. It transpires unpleasant and hateful results at the end of the road. But we will still need to endure and be diligent about the truth. Considering that the truth does not change, you just have to live with it or accept it all the way. In some instances, you just have to suffer and withstand its consequences and pain.
Jesus is of the truth but it does not mean everyone will believe Him and everyone will be pleased upon hearing Him (John 8:45). Many were offended and hurt with our Lord Jesus Christ telling the truth to everyone. They even called Him devil and threw stones at Him. Telling biblical truths and facts will never make everybody love you but it is quite the opposite. But we are obligated to spread the truth of the gospelno matter what is the outcome. Criticism should be the least of our worries. With our ever changing world, we also need to evolve to be able to share the gospel efficiently and righteously. that is a considerable task. Thus, we have to speak and preach boldly but carefully using His words.
Titus 2:8 – And sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.
Only God can judge us. The Holy Scripture is the judge in truth
Stating and declaring biblical facts and believing on them is clearly not judging others. It is the word of God who judges them and it is of the truth. However, if you shared the words of God maliciously with hurtful desires or without sympathy then it is indistinguishable as condemnation and a personal accusation. Only God can judge us and He does that effectively through His words.
2 Timothy 4:2 – Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
2 Timothy 3:16 – All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
How do we use His words to judge?
The words found in the scriptures can be used as instruments for judging others. His words are powerful and comes with potent authority that can be wielded to subdue anything in this world. It is exceptionally adequate in purpose. It can encourage and discourage. It can rebuke, offend and please anyone. It can teach us righteously and can destroy lives as well. And, all can be done without fail. The Holy Bible is one of the greatest gifts of God to mankind but take heed because even His words are not immune to man’s corruption and perversion. It can be violated as any other tool or weapon.
The scripture is a quick, compellingly powerful and a sharp two edged sword that can be abused and be used in very bad ways. Putting us even farther away from God, quite the contrary to its very essence and purpose. His words are meant for us to know Him more and be closer to Him but it can also be utilized by the enemy to bring us down and turn to each other.
Galatians 4:16 – Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
Ephesians 4:15 – But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Judge in truth, everything will end up in our heart and soul.
Why did you do it? No one exactly knows how and why we do things but our own selves. It is only “us” who can answer our own questions. Did I perverse the words of God? Did I spread His words with hidden agenda and malice? We may have said things soundly but God Judges differently. Speak the truth in love then I assure you there will be no mistake in doing that. But I can not assure you that all men will indeed love you. If that happens, count it all as a persecution in faith for which you are entitled to a greater reward.
Speak the truth in love. Let God and His words do the judging. That is the way to go.
Even God’s plan needs time. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith. How did He become the author? And how can He finish our faith? Can faith really end and when does one’s faith ends? There are many question but not enough time to answer them all. Since we have to answer them all in detail and in strands. And yet ultimately, all things can be achieved through time but man don’t have enough time in his hands.
Faith can end upon His plan
Faith ends when that something that you believe had finally materialize. It bloomed and transpired into a colorful flower you dreamed of. Your faith can either give in or be achieved but as soon as time is depleted you will know exactly that your faith is at the finale. Your faith in that single event is forfeited and consummated. However, as Christians and faithful believers our cycle of faith never ends up until the promised salvation as such we have to continue on believing. Even faith needs time to happen.
1 Peter 1:9 – Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Time is part of His plan. God’s plan needs time
God’s plan is no different. Even God needs time for His plans to take place. Time is essential to become the author and the finisher. To plan, create and build are the easiest for Him. Nonetheless it is the test of time that you can never rush. You can not spawn 50 years from just 5 days or 5 years. The likelihood of having the precise outcomes and sequences of events procuring the desired results after is the real trouble and dilemma. Though the thrill of His plans are the actual occurrence of events thus, it has to be dispense accordingly. The Finisher as His given title is one of the trickiest part of being God. Although He did succeed above all not because He is God but He is – who He is. Patiently thru time He waited and endured. God achieved things perfectly because He let His plan ran its course. And God has all the time in the universe to let His plans work perfectly. He is indeed a gracious, compassionate and an enduring God.
James 1:4 – But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Our time is part of the equation of God’s plan
We believe in so many things in life. We got so many excuses, we may not have enough aptitude, resources or the power to do things. But most importantly, the truth is we have no time to prove or disprove all of the things we believe in. Time is a commodity that gets depleted and many men chooses to think they have all the time in the world. No, our time is but limited. When you don’t fully believe, trust and obey God never expect that time is in your hands. Chance and time will soon cease and stop. You have to swiftly and urgently race towards Him because He owns all the time.
However, if God has a work and purpose for you, all you have to do is trust Him and wait patiently. God’s plan will work out perfectly just give it some time. Never be bothered by time since it is at your side, a formidable ally.
His anointed church and members of the church should learn to patiently wait for God’s grand plan to transpire. His plan will happen in time. As He had chosen us, we have all the defined time that determines our victorious end. No need to hurry and worry too much.
God’s plans were in detail as His creations were thorough indeed from microscopic to astronomical specifications. The more ingenious you are the more detailed your plan is. Look at the architects and engineers of 15th century, compare them with the professional builders of today. The building requirements and calculations are over the top. Imagine God’s plans or His blueprints. God is far more superior and knowledgeable above all and beyond all times. His grand plan of salvation is thus, the most detailed plan ever. You cannot and will never fathom it my friend, without the Spirit of Truth.
God’s plan in Jesus Christ
The creation of man and everything else was subtle and intricate but it was all known to God. Since, it was His plan from the beginning. The flow and ordinance of His chosen ones through the generations are all guided and well pondered. Becoming Jesus as the son was His destiny and role which was all planned vividly. Think of all the details. They are innumerable. Who was His mother? Where and when was Jesus born? How does He look like? How did He die? To God knowing and doing the details was one of the thrilling and satisfying part of creating His creation. The planning was performed probably thousands or millions of years ago (who knows) but the eventuality of all is still yetl to come. How marvelous His works and plans are?
Romans 8:28 – And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
God’s Plan in us
Our own little life is no excuse. If we love Him and believe that we are called according to His purpose. This is a purpose we have to insist in ourselves by believing and working for the sake of His will. We are well may be in His detailed plan, without a doubt. But the microscopic parts of the plan are replaceable and even disposable depending upon its importance and function.
You want to be sure of your calling? At this point in time, we can not be and we should not be arrogant to be sure of it. We should continue believing and giving diligence on it. Failure will not be an option for anyone who keeps believing and working.
2 Peter 1:10 – Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
The influence and importance of church is relevant and distinguishable. There is a unique but a powerful designation of God to His church. The church was appointed for salvation. As we all know, our Lord Jesus Christ is the groom and the bride is the church. It was the promise and obligation of the groom to save His bride no matter what. To the groom, the bride is the most important entity. There is no way the groom will abandon His bride. The bride will always receive her destiny of salvation and grace. Without the bride the marriage will never take place and the groom will be wrapped up as unfaithful and untrue.
What is the power of the church? The importance of church to the groom
Being the bride she has a destiny and a foreordained authority of being one with the groom. The groom is the Son of God, His knowledge, glory and sovereignity is being the heir of the Almighty. The son differs from the father but as soon as the father appoints it the son becomes the Lord. Our belief implies that the Father and the Son are the same person, referring to only one entity or existence. There is a dispensation of time of its role as the father and the son but only one God who is the Father of all who for a moment became the 100% man as the Son of God. It was determined by God that the church will become one with the son. A union thru marriage of whom God established and originated it. It was His ultimate designation. Thus, giving the church an exponential power and authority because of the determined union of our Lord Jesus Christ to the church.
The importance of church for our salvation
We may discredit the church. We may forget her power and smear her reputation but in reality the church is destined for greatness and with an almost infinite glory. It has authority for anointing and granting salvation to its subjects and to anyone who enters it. It is a common understanding that whatever the bride decides or desires the groom will try His best upon His influence to make things happen. The bride is supposed to follow the groom on His plans and arrangements however the bride was also given access to tap on her own decisions that may not implicate on the general destiny of the church. The church may decide on her own that may burden or lighten the groom but will not totally impede the inevitability of the church’s fate.
The “metaphoric compound church” (scattered in various times and locations) intended for the marriage was established by the lamb himself. It was promised by the lamb that the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Although, I will not expound more on the importance, capabilities and influence of the church but I’m sure you will manage. Because they are definitely noteworthy and monumental.
Ephesians 5:32 KJV – This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
